"Deception Point"
Life is just like a piano...its how you play it to make a beautiful melody!
Life. Status. Luxuries. Wealth. Beauty. Greed. Lust. Pollution. Evil. Parties. Degrees. High Ranks. Pleasures. In short...Nothingness!
I started my article with the word..Life! And ended my statement with Nothingness!
Just think when a child comes into this world carrying nothing with him....and a grown up old man when he dies....his condition is also the same! Yes....but the situation is different with the old man ....and that the truth lies in his heart and his soul! His heart and soul are full....but it depends from person to person. You might think that the person has lived his life to the fullest in this world therefore he might take with him a treasure trove of things with ...but no! Allah swt will judge each and everyone not by his material wealth that he had in this temporary abode, not by his rank, not by his degrees..But by His deeds!
Allah swt shows us at every point that this life is a deception, an illusion! For example if you order a big upsized meal of burger, fries and drink, you have your fill for that time! You sleep contentedly..But for that night only! Your stomach the next will again ask for more, and the meal you had the previous would feel as if you had it a year back and that your hunger is back! You wont feel the fullness anymore... similarly if a child is gifted a lot of toys, he will still ask for more...because he would at a point get bored out of his old toys!
Everything in this worldly life is nothing but a deception! Even the relationships which we have in this world, i.e of being a parent, a sibling, a husband or a wife, daughter or a son, etc. The feelings of happiness, the sorrow, the anger, envy, depressed, stressed out etc are also worldly because in the life of the hereafter everybody will experience either one of the two feelings: either fear or contentment.
So it all depends upon our deeds...that we do in this deceptive world!
I take life as a game...a game where we are told to be in a room, and we are shown different things, and we have to pick few things...but behold, some are real and some are just our illusion! We have few chances to make mistakes or else you will go on losing the game. To play that game we just need true faith in Allah and in ourselves! Which may sound easy but it’s a very hard game indeed! We already have been given cheats for the game that is one who will have trust in Allah, taqwa, and implement on Quran and sunnah are the ones who will win this game fair and square! But sadly just a few have won this game and are winning and others keeping on losing...because they don’t even want to try!
dunya key aey musafir...manzil teri qabr hai..
tey kar raha hai jo tu....buss do din ka yeh safar hai!
We see people taking their last breath, dying, getting buried deep down in the grave...but still we don't understand! Allah swt has said in the Quran that they are blind, deaf and dumb! Because they don’t pay heed to all this and they are partying in this world...
But Allah does justice to all...Allah has loosened his rope on them and has said that though they have been given so many chances, they still have rebelled and have become transgressors..Therefore Allah has put in disease into their hearts and they will be given a painful torment in the hereafter! Astagfirullah! This is NOT only said for the disbelievers..Its for us believers too! Because we too, do so many things that Allah doesn’t like, such as murdering, swearing, being jealous, black magic, going to shrines of sufis, women don’t wear hijab, and many other things ...May Allah forgive us All and guide us to the straight path! Ameen*
Remember Allah gives us on every moment the chance to adopt the right path, but its our own fear, motivation and complete faith in Allah which drives us towards that path.
Allah knows best!
Supermarkets -A Bane or a Blessing!
One can say that there is not much difference between the Modern shoppers and the shoppers of years ago. They want to buy good products from a range of items which are well priced. They don't mind to visit a specialist shop where shop keeper really knows his products. They would like to go to the butcher who can offer advice on meat or a fishmonger who can fillet the fish for them as that gives them the feeling that they are shopping sensibly and the best way.
As a matter of fact, it probably does not matter if the quantity of main supermarkets is condensed to four or even three. The main issue is that their financial muscle and lobbying supremacy over both national and local government is massive. There is already a lot of damage which is done and is expected that is will go on being done. It is a message in political and market failure. It is however for us to understand the benefits and pitfalls of any advancement or change which is brought in with time. There might be many benefits which might have emerged due to the evolution of Supermarkets but the weight of the negatives is high as compared to the positives. Hence, the benefit of having everything under one roof should not be much of an attraction as compared to the health hazards and environmental pollution which are caused by such an existence. One can only keep a positive hope that the supermarkets work on their negatives for a healthier, successful and a better Environment.
Is Leadership and Management the same?
One might think that leadership and management are related but they are wholly different entities. Leadership talks about leading people in a direction they want to trudge as they could not have made this effort alone. It is not necessary that the leader has to be a manager whereas a manager can be an effective leader at the same time. Manager is the one who steers and controls a business and people in an organization. It is not an easy task to be a leader because a good blend of knowledge, experience and techniques is required by the leader to create an affirmative platform for individuals to bloom their talents and guide them towards the best path to trudge. One cannot negate the fact that an individual can be either a leader or a manager or he or she can be both. The individuals who are leaders as well as managers, although have their management jobs but have the realization that they cannot buy hearts especially when there are difficult levels which their subordinates are facing, so they act as leaders too. Managers by definition have subordinates or people who report to them and have the right to exercise certain degree of authority over them which is given by the organizational policies. They is more work centered as they are paid to get things done by the staff under them. Leaders have followers not subordinates and these followers are involved in this activity voluntarily. They have a charismatic and transformational style which inspires the individuals to follow their footsteps. They have the ability to attract droves and droves of people to their cause. They have the art of persuasion and can transform individuals who follow them. Leaders give credit to individuals and encourage them very effectively which creates a strong bond between the leader and the follower and sense of loyalty is also developed. The leaders pay attention to the tasks of their followers and even in most of the cases makes a solution seeing the different set of needs and requirements. When talking about the difference between the manager and a leader it is always noted that it is the style and the attitude towards people and work that makes them different from each other. It is believed that managers as compared to leaders are risk averse whereas leaders are regarded as risk takers so as to get effective results holistically.
Smoking-A Silent Killer
We Should always endeavor to resist violence and extremism in all its forms. Our aim shoul be to uproot extremism through dialogue and discourse and restore peace and tolerance in our communities, societies particularly in our children. In order to help our society particularly our young generation to get rid of health hazard. We should take up the task to address the smoking problems in our young generation particularly those who are in colleges and universities are facing.
Every one of us knows that smoking is extremely hazardous for health but people still addicted to smoking. It is a known fact that smoking is one of the major causes of serious illness like lung diseases, heart problems and cancer besides other diseases. Consequently it is responsible for nearly 100,000 deaths each year in Pakistan alone. We do not realize that how dangerous it could be for those who do not smoke (second hand smoke).
We should dedicate to help smokers to quit smoking particularly our young generation as a part of our ongoing public awareness drive to quit smoking, we should wish to conduct an awareness program for Colleges / Universities students. The benefits of such lectures with illustrations help to understand gravity of risk involved in smoking which help them to understand. Sooner they quit smoking is better for them as it wont take much time to quit if they follow the advice/ guidance of the medical expert.
We wish them best of luck and pray that God will also help and guide our young generation.

No teachers for women government colleges!
Research conducted in Islamabad says that more than one fifth of teaching posts at government-run colleges for women are vacant across Pakistan.
This is a sad state of affairs as this brings a decline in both employment level as well as in the education level which is crucial itself.
Therefore, I appeal to all the Pakistani women out there who intend to take up the profession of teaching, should also volunteer in working for the Government schools, which in turn would increase the standard of teaching in the Government schools.

Washed Out Hopes
Pakistan this year experienced a major devastation that killed at least 1,600 and left some 4 million homeless. This was such a massive destruction that this calamity has surpassed the humanitarian aid scope of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, Pakistan's 2005 earthquake and the 2010 Haiti quake.Stagnant water and homelessness raise the risk for water-borne diseases, and the reports issued by UN show the first cholera cases springing up in the wake of the flooding. Other concerns are typhoid fever, hepatitis A and E, malaria and dengue, and leptospirosis.People are dieing daily of starvation and hunger. Its even so that the basic amenities are not being provided to them leaving them at the mercy of God.
