The flood victims are still standing helpless between a distant, drowned and disappeared home on one side and no food, shelter or even hope on the other. The misery of hunger, disease and homelessness is unbearable for them. They need help and they will be helped!
We did see massive flood relief efforts by Pakistani citizens but it’s not enough. These are our brothers and sisters who are modest enough and are not showing their frustration and are being great examples of patience for us…but its our responsibility that we should extend a helping hand towards them and try helping them in whatever possible. Because this is how we can thank God even that we are safe in our homes and such sudden distress has not enveloped us. Alhamdullilah.
May Allah shower his mercy and blessings on our Pakistani brother and sisters. Ameen*
And here goes...The Electricity!
The load shedding-driven sleepless nights and disrupted daily routines of 6-7 hours of light gone off since ages, is still haunting the Pakistani people as the weather turns hot on and off. The situation has not improved since years, and indeed all the signs are… that it is getting worse!
And as a result of this painstaking problem of load shedding, a large number of people in different parts of the country come out on roads and streets for protest.
Due to this dilemma of load shedding, everyone is suffering a lot mainly the poor and lower class people because they don’t have many resources that they could afford alternatives like generators or U.P.S. Moreover, the working class is suffering from number of major troubles so, people are getting frustrated. People’s point of view is this when we are paying a lot in form of electricity bills, then why we are not been provided with enough electricity facility.
Therefore, If KESC/WAPDA don’t take effective measures, the situation of already crippling civilians, can enrage them more and can create a havoc in the cities. As well as if load shedding is still unavoidable despite all the measures, Wapda/KESC should organize the cuts in a sensible way to cause minimum discomfort and also Load shedding schedules should be properly planned and announced.

5th year, 5th anniversary...of October 8th earthquake!
The 5th Anniversary of history's most horrible and devastating earthquake of October 8, 2005 across Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) was observed with a pledge to recreate the affected areas. The anniversary observed as the "National Disaster Awareness Day" together with special prayers for the rest of the departed souls of the quake victims in eternal peace and to convey sympathies with the survivors of the history's worst natural catastrophe.
Certainly, its saddening that our fellow brothers are still living a crippled life, and we as brothers and sisters of theirs, should help them as much as we can

the sorry state of affairs..

The unresponsiveness of city life provides a perfect shelter of secrecy to everyone. The corruption and collusion of the police and the politics of patronage helps the criminal-political mafias to sustain, grow and expand.
And thus, one can just do pray for the country’s goodwill and security of people, as the present state of affairs predict that it will be getting more worse!

Mob Psychology and the Sialkot Lynching Case
I watched the shocking Youtube clip again of the Sialkot lynching incident of the brothers, Mughees and Muneeb, and you will wonder why no one tried to stop the demonic perpetrators.
Given this horrifying case, the question really is this; why in God’s name did anyone not try to stop the atrocity from taking place? Why weren’t Mughees and Muneeb rescued?
According to the Scottish journalist, Charles Mackay, in his book, ‘Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds’, said: “Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.”From a psychological perspective, men resorting to ‘herd behaviour’ begin replicating acts that the rest of the ‘herd’ is carrying out.For an individual, being part of a mob, means having a sort of subconscious security that no harm will befall the individual since he is one with the mob.
Sigmund Freud’s crowd behaviour theory sheds light on how when individuals act collectively as a group, their enthusiasm is increased, leading to a breakdown in individual thinking.
Regarding Mughees and Muneeb, justice must follow through swiftly.Or else, tomorrow, other victims like Mughees and Muneeb can fall prey to acts of violence in an already ruptured society.
