“Karachi is like a gold-laying goose,” says a retired police officer. “Every political party likes to get its share of the booty according to its power and strength.”
The unresponsiveness of city life provides a perfect shelter of secrecy to everyone. The corruption and collusion of the police and the politics of patronage helps the criminal-political mafias to sustain, grow and expand.
And thus, one can just do pray for the country’s goodwill and security of people, as the present state of affairs predict that it will be getting more worse!
